Putting on my Other Hat--Being a Stage Mom

By Mommy Donna and Kib - February 22, 2013

It's been a long time since I wrote something here, and truly, I missed it badly.  I also can't think of any topics to write on, but anyway, I have decided to write something aside from being a homeschooling mom.  I'm also a stage mom ^_^

Homeschooling gave us freedom to choose the activities that Kib wants.  Kib is an aspiring commercial model and after a year of trying in the casting auditions, Kib had his first project.  It is a print ad for Social Security System (SSS).  The ad is all over the newspapers.

One project came after another.  Kib had a chance to be an "extra" in Calla Detergent TV commercial.

Kib is on the outdoor scene, the kid from the far right after Mikee Cojuangco's son let go of the paper airplane.  You can barely see him as he is only one of the background talents.

Kib will also soon have his print ad with Mucosolvan released this year, here's a peek:

Kib was also chosen to be one of the models for Ceelin Plus Press Conference held at EDSA Shangrila Hotel.

Kib was requested by the caster to audition in one TV commercial.  I'm a bit worried then because Kib got dark during our vacation in El Nido, Palawan.  I'm so elated when he was chosen for the role.  He did a commercial with PAGCOR.

Kib is the smallest kid among the group of 4 wearing blue undershirt

Kib also did a campaign material with Senator Chiz Escudero which will be aired anytime during the campaign period.

Kib was also chosen to be a model again for the launch of Ceelin Plus Drops during the Pediatrica-Unilab Sales Conference held in New World Renaissance Hotel.

So happy about all of Kib's accomplishments.  At an early age, surely I can see that he will grow to be a fine young man in the future.

  1. Hi Teacher Mommy,

One of your blogs caught my attention. I was a homeschooler myself (yes, all my 4 children were homeschooled up through high school). I would like to get in touch with you by any means to discuss an item that caught my interest.

Appreciate if you can contact me soonest.
