We use LPG in our home.
I know that some families are scared of using LPG in cooking. I understand where they’re coming from
because LPG is a combustible material.
Thank God and so far we haven’t experienced any accidents at home
involving LPG. As we all know, the
well-publicized tragedy that involved LPG was the explosion that happened in
Serendra in BGC. I am no longer updated
with the investigation but I guess everybody learned a lesson from that tragedy.
Solane, the Philippines’ top LPG solutions provider, has a
current campaign on the importance of safety during this year’s most colorful
fiestas.
Ruben Domingo, Isla LPG Corporation’s CEO said, “In a
country where there’s always a fiesta somewhere, Solane made it a point to be
present at these festivals that present a great opportunity to spread our
advocacy of safety in this kitchen.
Because truth be told, what happens in the kitchen does not only affect
one’s residence but also the neighborhood.”
Solane started with their awareness campaign by joining the
festivals honoring Sto. Niño (Cebu’s Sinulog, Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan, and Iloilo’s
Dinagyang). Solane joined the
merrymaking through its eye-catching floats, while showcasing its effective service,
and safe, high-quality LPG to its customers.
During the festivals, Solane took the opportunity to offer
sales promotion activities in Cebu and Aklan and gave out branded merchandise
items.
The success of Solane’s safety campaign in Visayas region is
due to the company’s enriching relationship with its local distributors.
The new feature of Solane LPG tank is it’s first-of-its-kind
safety cap. This completely plugs the
gas to prevent leaks before installing the tank with the hose. The safety cap also carries a serial number
to protect the customers from illegal LPG refillers. Solane has also an Authenticity Checker on
Facebook, where customers can verify if the tank came from a licensed Solane
dealer.
Solane has also introduced the Hatid-Bahay service, where
every Solane LPG delivery guarantees a 7-point safety check of the LPG system
at home by the company’s well-trained riders.
For customers outside Metro Manila, they can now conveniently order LPG
for their needs on the company’s website at www.solane.com.ph
or by sending to their nationwide textline at 0918-8875555.
I am so happy to learn that Solane is very dedicated and
persistent in advocating safety at home and events. Good job, Solane!
